Richard Bosworth, CEO of JC Hospitality, said late last week that the “ownership group is carefully evaluating the previously announced fall 2020 opening date.” JC Hospitality purchased Hard Rock Las Vegas in the spring of 2018, unveiling plans to remodel and relaunch it as a Virgin Hotels property. However, its opening might now be pushed back to a later date. The property was expected to commence operations under its new ownership and brand in October or November. The former Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas was shuttered in February to undergo its planned eight-month transformation into Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Virgin Hotels Las Vegas may not open doors this coming fall, as originally planned, property officials said in a statement late last week.
